WONDERFUL VINTAGE INSPIRED GERMAN, CARDBOARD PAPIER MACHE, CHRISTMAS SANTA CLAUS CANDY CONTAINER. What a beautiful piece. Traditional BELSCHNICKLE inspired design. Rich, vibrant hand painted coloration. Beautiful detailing, into the papier mache mold. Heavy mica glitter around the hood and cuffs of his coat. Purchased in Germany from a small workshop, using the same vintage molds and tools, exceptional craftsmanship for the past 100+ years. This beautiful, hand crafted candy container, is in very good condition, as shown in the photos. Santa Claus measures about 11 1/2" tall. He separates easily at the base, to fill with Holiday treats. What a great addition he will make to your CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY collection!!!!!
