LARGE UNUSUAL VINTAGE GLASS BEAD CHRISTMAS TREE GARLAND

WONDERFUL, VERY UNUSUAL STRAND OF VINTAGE MERCURY GLASS BEAD CHRISTMAS TREE GARLAND. What beautiful old glass beads. We do not see large old beads like this very often. These would be perfect for your Vintage design tree. Very unusual style and design. Rich, vibrant coloration, in shades of silver, red, royal blue, forest green, chartreuse, gold and hot pink......a real rainbow of colors!!! There are two different size beads on this strand. We have the extra large single silver colored beads, extended pikes on each end of the bead, that measure about 1 1/2" each, and the large single multi colored beads, that measure about 5/8" each. Again, a very unusual strand. Nice heavy, chunky look and feel to this strand. The beads are all in very good vintage condition, there may be a slight rough end to the pikes on the large silver beads, as shown in the photos....just so you are aware of that. We have tried to remove any damaged or broken beads, so they are ready to be used and enjoyed. This lovely strand measures about 62" long, has a cardboard square and a metal twist tie at each end. Each glass bead would have been hand blown in countries such as Germany, Czechoslovakia or Japan after WW II. Imports into the U.S. then began in the late 1940's, into the 1950's.
