VINTAGE BLOW MOLD CELLULOID SANTA CLAUS FACE CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENT

WONDERFUL VINTAGE CELLULOID, BLOW MOLD STYLE SANTA CLAUS FACE CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENT. What a great old Christmas Holiday decoration. Many companies produced a full line of hard plastic Christmas Holiday ornaments, figurines, decorations and novelty items during the 1940's-1960's, such as Irwin, Bradford, and Rosen. It was considered the "Golden Age" of hard plastic Holiday decorations for pieces such as these. Sold in the local five and dime stores, from small towns to large metro cities after WWII, when exports from Japan, Hong Kong, Czechoslovakia, and Germany to the U.S. began again. Rich, vibrant coloration. Beautiful detailing into the celluloid blow mold form. The ornament is in very good vintage condition, a few tiny slits along the one edge, as shown in the photos.
