WONDERFUL VINTAGE TILSO JAPAN PORCELAIN MAY / MOTHER'S DAY HOLIDAY BIRTHDAY BOY FIGURINE. What a lovely old Holiday decoration. Boy figurines are hard to find. Perfect for your Holiday display. TILSO CERAMICS produced a full line of Holiday and Birthday Angel figurines along with Lefton, Inarco, Napco and other factories of that time. Beautiful detailing into the mold. Rich, vibrant hand painted detailing. He holds a gift, "TO MOM", in his hands. May written on the base. Our little birthday boy is in very good vintage condition, free of chips or cracks, a very tiny bit of paint loss to the "M" on May and to his right eye, as shown in the photos. Can easily be touched up and restored. He measures about 4 1/4" tall. Wooden case that this series was packed in has original paper tag, "TILSO JAPAN". Produced 1950's-1960's.
