VINTAGE PAPIER MACHE PINECONE CHRISTMAS CANDY CONTAINER

WONDERFUL VINTAGE PAPIER MACHE, METALLIC FOIL COVERED PINE CONE CANDY CONTAINER. What a great old candy container. Very unusual style and design. The two piece pine cone candy container is made of a cardboard, papier mache material, covered in metallic green foil, adorned with a red metallic foil bow, and red mercury glass bead accents. Separates in the center to fill with Holiday treats. A beautiful piece! The candy container is in very good vintage condition, as shown in the photos. It measures about 7 1/4" long, 3" tall, 2 1/4" wide. Has the original paper tag, "MADE IN JAPAN". Old store stock from the 1950's-1960's.
