VINTAGE PORCELAIN CHRISTMAS SANTA PIXIE ELF FIGURINE

WONDERFUL VINTAGE PORCELAIN, CHRISTMAS SANTA PIXIE ELF MUSICIAN FIGURINE. What a great old Holiday decoration. Rich, vibrant hand painted coloration. Beautiful detailing into the mold. Our little pixie elf dressed in a red suit and hat, sits at the edge of a tree trunk, playing an accordion. Christmas ceramic and porcelain figurines such as these, were sold in the five and dime stores after WWII, when exports from Japan were allowed. Our little pixie elf is in very good vintage condition, free of chips or cracks, as shown in the photos. He measures about 3 3/4" tall. Ink stamp mark on the bottom, "JAPAN", with an original price stamp, produced 1940's-1950's.
